Your Forever Lounge experience unfolds through a collection of signature Ava Laurènne moments, from receiving your “I Am an Ava Laurènne Bride” T-shirt and signing your soon-to-be married name in our guest book, to stepping inside the couture-floral-covered vault for locally sourced bites and drinks. Ava Laurenne is truly the Disney of bridal shopping!

The studio is luxurious, but they have gorgeous styles for every budget. My consultant, Patty, provided the most wonderful, stress-free experience. As an anxious bride, I was so grateful for her patience, warmth, and lack of pressure. Patty NEVER made me feel like I was trying on too many dresses (I lost count!) and gave me space to take in a dress when she knew I needed a minute. She took a genuine interest in my love story, never rushed me, and helped me confidently find my dream dress. From booking to saying 'yes' to the dress, the entire ALB  team is intentional, inviting, and celebratory. I had to most AMAZING day yesterday!!!

We live in Virginia Beach  and traveled a little over two and a half hours to take a chance on this store after seeing some posts online about it. This was my first time trying on dresses so I wasn’t expecting much, maybe just to get an idea of what I’m even wanting as far as a dress for my wedding….My stylist sat down with us and I handed her my Pinterest board… She came back with a handful of dresses and the very first dress I put on was something I would have never expected to see myself in and ended up being the most amazing dress on the planet…. I officially said YES TO THE DRESS, and after check out, she took us around the store where we were able to grab some snacks, drinks, sign my future name and even do a cute future voicemail for my fiance! On another note, the shop itself is absolutely stunning and I would 100% recommend trying this place out to anyone needing to find a wedding dress!!

We've got answers! 

We're here to make your journey to "yes" as seamless as it is magical. Below you'll find answers to our most common questions, but please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything else.

How many people can I bring?

We can accommodate up to 4 guests for a classic or celebration appointment, and up to 14 for a princess treatment. Saturdays are our busiest day, so weekday appointments allow the most flexibility for a larger party.

Do I need to bring any special undergarments or shoes?

Our gowns are made with the most unbelievable construction so that you don’t need any special undergarments! Our gowns are made to be worn without bras so that you can see the perfect fit. We have pedestals for you to stand on, and it is easier to get in and out of gowns without shoes.

How long does it take for a gown to come in?

Our order gowns typically take anywhere from 6-9 months to come in, and then alterations typically takes about 3 months. We also have gowns that we sell directly out of our collection that you can take home the same day if your wedding is earlier!

What prices should I expect?

We honestly and truly believe that your perfect gown is in your perfect price point! Most of our gowns are between $3,500-$5,500, with gowns starting out at $2,000 and going up to several thousand. We also have an “Off the Rack” collection that starts around $1,200!

What sizes do you carry?

It is so important that every bride has an array of gowns to try on! It is one of our utmost priorities to have a variety of samples to help you find your perfect gown. We have samples from size 6 to size 30. Our average size for our samples is a bridal 12-14. Bridal gowns tend to run small, so be prepared to fit into a gown that may be 1-2 sizes higher in number than what you normally wear! (If you are a size 6, you will be an 8 or 10 in bridal!) We don’t know why designers do this, but we can assume it is based on European standard sizes! You will feel fabulous in the gowns here at Ava Laurenne!!

How long is the appointment?

Our classic and celebration appointments are 1.5 hours and our princess treatment appointments are 3 hours! There is more wiggle room during the week if you need more time for your appointment since we see the most brides on Saturdays!

Customizations and colors

Your gown should feel as unique as you are! Many of our gowns can be ordered in a variety of beautiful colors, and we can customize your look even further by adding sleeves and other special details to make your dress feel completely you.
